Apple's leather case feels more solid and expensive than its competitor's cases. We like that the case has metallic button covers and a microfiber interior lining. You can order the product in golden brown (pictured), dark cherry, midnight black, sequoia green, and purple.

It's worth mentioning that this case is not compatible with MagSafe or wireless chargers. The Otterbox Symmetry Series+ offers iPhone mini owners a durable build quality but in a slim and stylish form factor. What makes the case stand out most, though, is its inclusion of a permanent antimicrobial coating, which protects against bacteria. It's transparent, so it’s an excellent choice for fashion-conscious buyers who want to display their iPhone’s stock color while still sticking to a budget. It also comes in pink and glitter variants. 

It's worth mentioning that this option doesn't have MagSafe functionality. If that's important to you, we recommend Apple's official clear case, instead, but it’s three times more expensive.

OtterBox is known for making some of the most rugged smartphone cases around. The Commuter Series case is no different, and it features a two-piece construction for added toughness, as well as raised edges for better screen protection. Priced typically around $15, the Spigen Thin Fit is among our favorite ultra thin cases for the iPhone. It's the perfect option for folks who hate cases because it's so thin you'll forget it's even on your phone. We appreciate that the case has covers for the volume and sleep/wake buttons that are plenty tactile. Other cases occasionally leave these buttons exposed.

This option is best suited for protecting the iPhone mini from scratches, but not significant drops since it doesn't have much padding.
